Associate Pastor Job Rendering 

The Education Ministry is an established community of children from pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, elementary, and youth, and young adults. Our Education Ministry’s focus is to teach the gospel, encourage our next generation to grow in Christ and develop future leaders for the global community. We are seeking a Full or part Time Associate Pastor for our education, who is devoted to growing the education ministry in Christ and who is willing to instill his/her own vision. The Associate Pastor would also provide guidance to the Education Ministry.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- To take after Jesus Christ through your own spiritual growth; to model yourself for the congregations through a worship and a godly life; to put out the best effort to be a good neighbor to others around. 

- To devote the ministry to multicultural English-speaking congregations. 

- To assist the senior pastor in building and maintaining a good flow of communications and a harmonious pastoral working relationship among the congregation and ability to take directions and supervision from senior ministry staff.

- To preach each Sunday throughout the year; to develop a Christian education curriculum; to plan with help of Sunday school teacher for annual events (e.g., retreat, revival, and picnics) and the activities in accordance with the church calendar; to focus on the spiritual growth of the congregations through a discipleship training and various pastoral activities. 

- To offer continuing education and train at a certain interval and to provide a regular supervision meeting for the Sunday School teachers. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

-Fluent in Korean and English. 

-He/She must be licensed or ordained in the PCUSA or open to joining the PCUSA. 

-Enrollment and/or graduated from a seminary. 

-Must be legal resident.
